Is it possible for someone to be this bad at communication?

My husband has to seriously work on his communication skills. We fight all the time about the dumbest things only because when he's upset, he'll never tell me what he's upset about. He keeps everything bottled up inside and every now and then he blows up. I take him aside all the time to talk and try to support him in what he's going through but he never wants to talk. If he would only open up a little more and tell me all of his complaints, our lifemates marriage would be better. I like him but he needs to talk and complain to me more often.
